GWÄN
GWÄN is an artist born and based in Georgia, known for a protest-driven sound built on marching rhythms and tunnel-like melodies that gained recognition both in Tbilisi and beyond - uncompromising, firm and genuine. Her sonic identity stands at the intersection of hypnotic techno, deep atmospheric tension and groove-focused movement, a combination that reflects both the political pulse of her homeland and the raw intensity of her club presence.
Based between Tbilisi and Berlin, GWÄN channels the spirit of Georgian rave culture into the heart of Europe’s nightlife. As a frequent guest of iconic Berlin promoters and part of the city’s queer-underground ecosystem, she connects two worlds through music - the emotional gravity and urgency of the Georgian scene with the sharp, industrial flow of Berlin. She is affiliated with Fluid Vision in Berlin and co-founded the techno-driven event platform Faction in Tbilisi, building bridges, networks and cultural exchange through her artistic work.
